My role

Product design · Workflow design · Trust and permissions

Product focus

A candidate-review workflow that preserves the decision, its reasoning, and its author.

Overview

I designed a candidate-review system that captures fast decisions, the reasoning behind them, and the ownership rules needed to keep feedback trustworthy.

The problem

An accept or reject decision is not enough. Feedback is difficult to collect, may change later, can conflict across reviewers, and often loses its author and context.

What I drove

  1. Reframed feedback as a structured decision workflow rather than a comment.
  2. Designed voice recording, transcription, review, and typed alternatives.
  3. Mapped the lifecycle from decision and capture through editing and reversal.

What changed

  1. Turned a binary preference into structured, attributable recruiting evidence.
  2. Defined the lifecycle and ownership rules for capture, edit, reversal, and review.

Impact

What the work was designed to move

Business impact

Converted lightweight hiring-manager reactions into structured, attributable evidence recruiters can act on.

Customer impact

Reviewers can explain decisions quickly through voice or text while retaining control over the final submission.

Revenue impact

Strengthens workflow stickiness by making stakeholder feedback useful inside the recruiting product rather than outside it.
