Lead product design · AI experience strategy · Multi-sided service design
Product focus
An AI-native hiring system connecting role intent, evaluation, evidence, collaboration, and reusable candidate proof.
Overview
Helix connects three fragmented experiences—defining a role, evaluating applicants, and presenting candidate proof—into one governed workflow. Hiring managers clarify intent, recruiters operate evaluation at scale, reviewers inspect evidence, and candidates receive a transparent screening experience with value that lasts beyond one application.
The problem
Hiring context decays between intake calls, job descriptions, ATS data, screening, and hiring-manager review. Recruiters inherit ambiguous criteria, reviewers see conclusions without enough evidence, and candidates repeat their story in disconnected steps. The challenge was to create a coherent AI-assisted system while keeping judgment, consent, access, and accountability visible.
What I drove
- Framed the end-to-end service across hiring-manager, recruiter, reviewer, candidate, and AI-agent journeys.
- Turned role priorities, trade-offs, and dealbreakers into conversational intake and an editable evaluation rubric.
- Connected ATS ingestion, scoring progress, filtering, shortlisting, deeper screening, rejection, and exception recovery.
What changed
- Established one durable role model across intake, rubric creation, ATS scoring, screening, evidence, and feedback.
- Gave recruiters an operational path from hundreds of applicants to inspectable recommendations and human decisions.
- Made hiring-manager access deliberate without separating reviewers from the criteria and evidence behind a shortlist.
- Created lasting candidate value through transparent screening, resume guidance, reusable proof, publishing, and analytics.
Impact
What the work was designed to move
Business impact
Created one governed operating model for role definition, ATS evaluation, collaborative review, and candidate proof across a multi-sided hiring platform.
Customer impact
Hiring teams can move faster without surrendering judgment, while candidates receive clearer expectations and a reusable profile they control.
Revenue impact
Extends product value across hiring managers, recruiters, reviewers, and candidates, creating more surfaces for adoption and enterprise expansion without claiming an unverified metric.
Three connected journeys
One hiring system. Three very different jobs.
Follow Helix from role definition to hiring operations and the candidate experience. Each journey uses the same evaluation model, but exposes the context, controls, and evidence that person needs.
Hiring manager flow
Turn a role brief into an evaluation system
Hiring managers can move from an imperfect job description to explicit criteria, useful questions, and a shareable interview without having to configure an AI product. Helix keeps every generated decision visible and editable before it reaches a candidate.
- Translate the job description and conversation into structured role context.
- Use conversation to surface priorities, dealbreakers, and genuine role trade-offs.
- Review, reorder, rewrite, add, or remove the rubric before evaluation begins.
